Yellow Spawning Project

Planning to start my Yellow project this weekend (3-4 July)....The male is a near-HM (Super Delta) & the female is a HM. The female is the mother of the male, i.e. I am going to do a F2....
Have conditioned them for more than a week already.....hope to get some Yellow HMs...

Note - HM stands for Half-Moon (for those who are new to this betta hobby).

Outstanding Spawns Not Jarred Yet

Currently, still have Red HM & Red Dragon juveniles not jar yet...they are still in their community tank...nearly 2 months old.....

Super Blue HMPK

Last weekend had jarred about 20 over juveniles....to post some of the pics soon.

This betta hobby

It is quite tough to cultivate this hobby in Kuching cos we can hardly find quality fish here. The local Life Fish Shops (in short LFS) are reluctant to 'import' this fish from the Peninsula, Thailand, Philippines or even Indonesia. The obvious reason is the fish is too 'pricey' if imported.
I am now trying to breed some quality fish from what I have bought from Melaka & Thailand.

New Offspring Coming

New spawns coming up - Super Blue HMPK, Red HM & Super Black HMPK

About Me

My photo
Fell in love with betta in 2006. I personally feel that spawning betta is very challenging but at the end of the day, I get the satisfaction. I consider myself still very amatuer in this hobby. To anybody who happen to visit my blog, please feel free to comment on my fish or even the blog layout, etc etc. Thank you.
